What to Expect From Drop-Off to Pickup
We know trying something new can feel uncertain—for both students and parents. Here’s exactly what a first night at GK Youth Night looks like:
Arrival & Drop-Off (5:50–6:05 PM)
When you arrive at 584 Franklin Rd, Franklin, TN:

You’ll be greeted by GK team members as you pull in

Clearly marked areas will guide you where to park and drop off

A team member will be available to answer any quick questions
For Students:

They’ll be welcomed right away—no awkward standing around

Leaders will help introduce them to others if they come alone

They’ll be directed into the main activity area
Pick-Up (8:25–8:45 PM)

Is GK Youth Night a church youth group?
No. GK Youth Night is not a church youth group.
Generation Kingdom is an independent nonprofit organization that creates safe, positive environments for students to connect, have fun, and grow in a faith-centered atmosphere—without the structure or expectations of a traditional youth group.
Is Generation Kingdom connected to the church where this is held?
No. We are not affiliated with or operated by any church.
The property at 584 Franklin Rd, Franklin, TN has been made available for us to host GK Youth Night by Gateway Community Church. We’re grateful for their generosity, and know they are wanting God's Kingdom to grow.
Do students have to attend church or be religious to come?
Not at all.
Students from all backgrounds are welcome—whether they attend church regularly, have never been, or are just coming to hang out with friends.
There is no expectation of belief, participation, or prior experience with faith.
What does “faith-based” mean in this environment?
It means we create a positive, encouraging atmosphere rooted in Christian values like respect, kindness, and purpose.
There will be elements like:

Worship music

Small group conversations

Personal testimonies
Students are always welcome to engage at their own comfort level.
Is participation in worship or small groups required?
No.
Students are never forced to participate in any part of the night. They can engage at their own pace and comfort level.
Who is supervising the students?
GK Youth Night is led by trained adult leaders and vetted volunteers who are committed to creating a safe, structured, and welcoming environment.
Leaders are present throughout the entire event to supervise activities, build relationships, and ensure student safety.
Is this a safe environment?
Yes. Safety is a top priority.
We provide:

Our goal is to create a space where both students and parents feel confident and comfortable.
What should my student bring?

Comfortable clothes for outdoor activities

A friend (optional—but encouraged)

Money for extras like food (Pizza) or drinks
We will provide water, and all activities.
Is there a cost to attend?
GK Youth Night is free to attend.
(Some nights may include optional purchases of food, merch or special events, but regular nights are designed to be accessible to everyone.)
Can my student come alone or do they need to come with a group?
Students are welcome to come on their own or with friends.
Our environment is intentionally designed to help students quickly feel included and connected.
What ages is this for?
GK Youth Night is designed for:

Middle School Students

High School Students
Students are grouped by Middle and High School age during breakout times to ensure relevant conversations and connections.
What happens if my student doesn’t know anyone?
That’s completely normal—and very common.
Our team is intentional about helping students get connected quickly through:

Group games

Crew-based small groups
-
Leader introductions
Most students will make connections within their first night.
